Product description
Real Viking Shield | Custom Handmade Decorative Shield - RA-92
Material: Plywood & Steel Diameter: 23 Inches | Boss Diameter: 6 Inches
The Art of the Norse Warrior
For centuries, the Viking shield stood as the most essential weapon of the Norse warrior a symbol of strength, honor, and craftsmanship. The RA-92 is a faithful tribute to that legacy. Every curve, every detail, and every finish has been carefully considered to deliver an authentic piece that speaks to the heart of Viking tradition.
Craftsmanship Without Compromise
The RA-92 is constructed from premium Plywood and Steel, chosen for their durability, authenticity, and historical accuracy. Faithful to traditional Viking practices, the wooden frame is hand-treated with linseed oil, providing natural waterproofing and a rich, aged finish that deepens with time. The steel boss, centered with purpose, adds structural reinforcement and mirrors the battle-ready design of historical Norse shields.
Every shield leaves our workshop only when it meets the exacting standards Ragnar Armory is known for. No shortcuts. No compromise. Only craftsmanship.

A well made beauty that makes me feel like Kratos, the only issue I have is the oil that's on the blade

Exactly like the movie
I've been a Conan fan my whole life. I had to look at it for myself and it is awesome. Very heavy, durable and from what I can tell exactly the same as the movie. Great work!

Better than expected
This axe was beautiful and better than expected. The folks at Ragnar have great communication, which is very important. You won't be disappointed.

The blade is a lot greener than the pictures, and the hilt a lot less silver, it also took longer than they said for it to ship, otherwise great product

Amazing looking blade and the best looking replica I could find, the blade is a little thin but absolutely doesn't ruin my enjoyment, be careful when opening as oil was on the replica so it could stain things
