Product description
Odin's Ravens Hugin & Munin — Ancient Viking Warrior Shield Design
Material: Premium Handcrafted Wood
Diameter: Custom Sizes 23"Inches, 26"Inches, 28"Inches
Step into the legendary world of the Norse warriors with this masterfully handcrafted Viking Shield, a piece that breathes life into the ancient traditions of the Norsemen. This is not merely a shield, it is a symbol of power, heritage, and unmatched craftsmanship, forged with the same reverence and dedication that Viking blacksmiths and woodworkers brought to every weapon of war.
Every inch of this shield has been meticulously crafted by skilled artisans who honor the authenticity of Viking tradition. The solid premium wood construction provides exceptional strength and durability, while the hand-applied linseed oil treatment ensures natural waterproofing, preserving the integrity of the wood just as Norse warriors did centuries ago. A reinforced metal boss sits proudly at the center, adding both historical accuracy and structural resilience a true hallmark of Viking shield design.
The surface bears the iconic imagery of Hugin and Munin, Odin's legendary Ravens — the twin messengers of wisdom and thought that soared across the nine realms carrying knowledge back to the Allfather himself. This deeply symbolic artwork is rendered with extraordinary detail, making this shield a profound conversation piece and a collector's crown jewel.
At 23 inches in diameter, this shield commands presence wherever it is displayed. Whether mounted on your wall as a bold statement of Viking culture, showcased in a historical collection, or wielded as a functional piece of living history, it delivers an unparalleled visual and tactile experience that mass-produced replicas simply cannot match.
This shield is a testament to the timeless spirit of the Norseman fierce, proud, and enduring. Owning it means carrying a piece of history in your hands, a legacy that transcends centuries and speaks directly to those who appreciate true artistry, raw power, and cultural depth.
Perfect for:
- History enthusiasts and Viking culture collectors
- Home and office wall décor with a bold, commanding presence
- Medieval reenactments and living history displays
- Thoughtful, premium gifts for those who appreciate heritage craftsmanship
Embrace the call of the ravens. Claim your shield. Honor the legacy of Odin.

A well made beauty that makes me feel like Kratos, the only issue I have is the oil that's on the blade

Exactly like the movie
I've been a Conan fan my whole life. I had to look at it for myself and it is awesome. Very heavy, durable and from what I can tell exactly the same as the movie. Great work!

Better than expected
This axe was beautiful and better than expected. The folks at Ragnar have great communication, which is very important. You won't be disappointed.

The blade is a lot greener than the pictures, and the hilt a lot less silver, it also took longer than they said for it to ship, otherwise great product

Amazing looking blade and the best looking replica I could find, the blade is a little thin but absolutely doesn't ruin my enjoyment, be careful when opening as oil was on the replica so it could stain things
